This position is based in Mendoza and reports to the Manager of Supply Chain

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Supervising the activities of the Purchasing Department with 6 direct reports ( Buyers), engage suppliers to procure goods, services, develop proposals and/or negotiate prices, terms, schedules, and other provisions of the purchase orders and acquisition contracts which are in line with company procurement policies/practices.Interact and negotiate with supplies and management Develop, implement, and maintain procedures and the sequence of operations within the department to optimize workflow Assist in meeting all business unit goals and objectives Prepare for and participate in daily accountability meetings and KPI (Key Process Indicators: On Time Delivery, Savings, Low Cost Source, Supplier Cost of Non Conformance Reports). Confirm all required information is provided to vendor Review, update, and maintain job status reports Ensure that hot and aged jobs are updated daily Ensure all action items are reviewed and acted upon in a timely manner. Balance Load of Buyer and has a planarization for the Materials arrivals for the next 90 days.

REQUIREMENTS
- English Advanced written ans speaking (mails, phone, meetings)
- Proactive Person
- Availability to travel 30%.
- Industrial Engineer
- Commercial/Purchasing background 3 years
- Supply Chain Knowledge
- Microsoft Package (Excel, Mail, Word, Power Point): Advanced

PREFERENCES
- Lean and/or Green Belt Certified
- 6 Sigma Tools Trained and Project presented.
- Knowledge of basic business principles such as, purchasing, material logistics, and other business scenarios Prior supervisory or team lead experience Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary Must be self-motivated contributing team member Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment Basic experience in excel, access, word and power point
- Experience with Logistic Team in coordinate Foreign Trade Operation (Incoterms , Packing List, Commercial and/or Proforma Invoice, Origin Certificate, etc).
