Responsibilities: Every programmer at the company does:
Interacts directly with the Client to identify application requirements
Participates on estimations and team commitments
Plans and determines the best way to implement those requirements in code
Collaborates closely with QA engineers to identify application weakness, failure points and bugs
Demonstrates the software behavior to the end Client after the end of each sprint
Hands on quality software engineers’ opportunities, requiring skills beyond writing test scripts and finding bugs.
Developing, executing and maintaining master test plans Debugging software through systematic tests
Applying company standards
Skills required:
4+ years experience testing back end systems and web UI
Automation experience with either QTP or WinRunner
Experience with Agile approaches
Experience in web services
Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
Correctly label and report bugs for tracking purposes Expertise in functional/manual and regression testing, test case management, automation testing tools, performance testing tools, etc
Qualifications:
3 or more years of experience in similar position
Bachelor's degree (preferably).
